Shabbat-Shalom-The Three in One

The words Shabbat (Sabbath) שבת and Shalom שלום both begin with the Hebrew letter ש.

ש is formed by three flames joined together into one letter. ש is also the first letter in the form of G-d’s name  Shaddai שדי  .  The letter Shin ש  is the letter for the name of HASHEM  on the Mezuzahs that we place on our door jambs and to the entrance of our houses.

ש is also the first letter in the name Shiloh שילו which is the place where the Holy Tabernacle of HASHEM rested for over three hundred years.

For go now to My place that is in Shiloh, where I caused My name to rest at first.

Jeremiah 7:12

When Shiloh is viewed from on high in the air, the hills and the valleys form the letters of G-d’s name.

Jerusalem ירושלים is formed by seven Hebrew letters.  The middle letter is a ש. This is where the Holy Temple of HASHEM rested.  When viewed from above, high in the air, the hills and the valleys form the shape of the letter shin .ש

In the beginning, in Genesis בראשית, the first book of the Torah, after Cain קין  had murdered his brother Abel הבל, Adam and Eve had another son.  Adam named him SETH שת.

And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son, and she named him Seth, for God has given me other seed, instead of Abel, for Cain slew him.

Genesis 4:25

It was through Seth שת that the Messiah  המשיח was to come.  The letters  שת are the last two letters of the Hebrew alphabet.  This is because  through the Messiah המשיח the final redemption of the human race would be accomplished by   HASHEM.  The first letter ש is for Shaddai שדי.  The second or last letter is a TAV ת. This shape of this letter in old Hebrew is the shape of a cross.  It is also the shape of the Holy Tabernacle of HASHEM,  and the shape of the Holy Temple of HASHEM.  It is also the shape of a man with outstretched arms.  It is the shape of the means through which HASHEM was to accomplish the redemption of fallen mankind.

The first ten generations in the antediluvian age or pre-flood era of mankind on earth were a colossal failure, and the epoch ended in a cataclysmic disaster.  But HASHEM spared Noah and his family.  After the flood המבול had destroyed the earth with its antediluvian civilization, HASHEM enabled the human race to propagate again.  The next ten generations from Noah to Abraham were again a colossal failure.  The period ended with the judgment of HASHEM at the tower of Babel in Babylon.  This judgment resulted in the dispersion of the nations across the earth according to different languages, and the dividing of the land mass into separate continents.  Twenty generations had now been crushed by the corruptions of sin.  Sin is also called the ‘Yetzer HaRA יצר הרע’.  And through it death continued to reign over the human race.

HASHEM then chose Abram, later He named him Abraham, to be the one through whom the seed of the Messiah המשיח was promised.  The Messiah המשיח would crush and destroy sin, and remove death from the human race.  HASHEM brought Abram out of the wickedness and the idolatry of Babylon in the land of the Chaldeans..  He gave Abram the land of Canaan, or the land of Israel, named after Jacob his grandson.  HASHEM changed the name of Jacob to ISRAEL.

Bet ב is the Hebrew letter that begins the words BEN בן and BAYIT .בית.

BEN בן means SON.  It was through Abraham’s seed, Isaac his SON, and through Jacob, the SON of Isaac, that HASHEM ordained the Messiah המשיח to come into the world.

BAYIT .בית is the name given to the Holy Temple of HASHEM in Jerusalem.

When the letter Bet ב is inserted between the two Hebrew letters of Seth’s name שת, we arrive at the word Shabbat שבת.  These are three letters that form one word, or three in one.

During the Shabbat שבת we cease or rest from our own works.  We contemplate, realize, relish, admire, enjoy, and luxuriate in the works of HASHEM.

The Messiah המשיח, who is the SON בן, accomplishes our redemption, and brings into being the time in which ALL IS SHABBAT  הכל שבת.  He conquers and destroys sin, brings in righteousness, and removes death from the world.

It is through Abraham that HASHEM brought the Holy Son, the Messiah המשיח, the Holy Temple, and the Holy Torah into the world.

It is through the Messiah המשיח that HASHEM conquered sin, destroyed it, and brought rest, His Shabbat שבת, His Rest, and Peace to the world.

And in your majesty ride and proper with success, by truth and meekness and righteousness;
and your right hand teach you tremendous, awesome things.

וַהֲדָרְךָ, צְלַח רְכַב– עַל-דְּבַר-אֱמֶת וְעַנְוָה-צֶדֶק;

Psalms 45:5

Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

Isaiah 45:8

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11: 9

When Moses משה completed all the parts of the Tabernacle exactly according to the pattern that HASHEM showed to him in Mt. Sinai, the glory or the Shekinah שכינה of HASHEM MOVED OFF OF MT. SINAI AND THEN INTO THE TABERNACLE..  So great was the glory of HASHEM that Moses could not enter into it, and neither could the Cohanim enter into it.

And they shall make Me a sanctuary and I will dwell in their midst

according to all that I show you,  according to the pattern of the Tabernacle,  and according to the pattern of all its vessels; and so shall you do.

Exodus 25: 8-9

He set up the courtyard all around the Mishkan (the Tabernacle) and the altar, and he put up the screen at the entrance to the courtyard; and Moses completed the work.

And the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the Mishkan.

Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud rested upon it and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.

In like manner when Solomon built the Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, he built it exactly according to the pattern that David his father had given to him.  This pattern was given to David by HASHEM.

Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch [of the Temple], and of the houses, and of the treasuries, and of the upper rooms, and of the inner chambers, and of the place of the mercy seat

and the pattern of all that he had by the Spirit, for the courts of the house of the LORD, and for all the chambers round about, for the treasuries of the house of God, and for the treasuries of the hallowed things;

All this was given in writing, as the LORD has made me wise by His hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.’

The patterns for the Tabernacle אהל המועד and the Holy Temple בית המקדש in Jerusalem were the same.  They were the shape of a cross or of a man with outstretched arms.

When Solomon completed the entire Temple exactly as specified by HASHEM, the fire of HASHEM came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice, then the glory of HASHEM filled the Temple so that the priests could not enter into it to minister.  This is the same as the cloud that filled the Tabernacle in the wilderness when Moses finished it.

Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt-offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD’S house.

And all the children of Israel looked on, when the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD was upon the house; and they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and gave thanks to the LORD; ‘for He is good, for His mercy endures forever.’

When the Messiah Yeshua המשיח ישוע emerged from the waters of the Mikvah, the voice of HASHEM spoke from heaven saying,

This is my Son who I love,

In whom is all my pleasure.

At this moment the Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים appeared in the form of a dove, and descending from heaven filling without measure the body of the Messiah המשיח.  This was the manifestation of the three in one. Just as the glory of HASHEM filled the Tabernacle and the Temple, so the glory of HASHEM filled the Body of the Messiah Yeshua. This was the glory of HASHEM that filled the Tabernacle and the Temple.   The shape of the Tabernacle and of the Temple was prophetic of this event.  Never since the fall of Adam had

the Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים filled the body of a man without measure!

The Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים had filled the prophets and men chosen by HASHEM for His purpose, but never before had the Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים filled a man without measure.

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stock of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow forth out of his roots

And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

Isaiah 11:1-2

When Yeshua ישוע being filled with the Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים without measure, entered into the Temple in Jerusalem, he cleansed it of the money changers.  He made a whip, and overturning the tables of their merchandise, he cast them out of the Temple, declaring “It is written, ‘My House shall be called a House of prayer for all nations’”

For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

Isaiah 56:7

At another time Yeshua ישוע made the announcement: “Destroy this Temple, and I will raise it up in three days.”  When he said this, he wasn’t referring to the physical building of the Temple, but to his body which was in the shape of the Temple.  After three days, he was referring to his physical body, which after it had been dead three days, he would be raised in his body from the dead in the great power of the first fruit of the resurrection.

Yeshua ישוע also declared the manner in which his body would be killed, and the effect that it would have upon all those who looked upon the body of the Messiah המשיח and believed in their hearts, when he declared:

As Moses lifted up the serpent on the pole in the wilderness,

So must the Son of Man be lifted up,

In order that whoever believes on him

Should not perish,

But have eternal life.

In the wilderness when the children of Israel were bitten by the fiery serpents, they were dying from the deadly venom of the snakes which was in their bodies.  But when they looked upon the serpent on the tree, or pole, the raging of the venom in their bodies ceased.  They were healed: life surged into into their bodies and they lived.

Likewise the Messiah Yeshua המשיח ישוע said that whoever looked upon his body on the pole, will be saved from eternal death and live forever.

The venomous workings of sin which is in that person’s body will cease, and sin will be destroyed.  Then the life which is in the Messiah’s body will fill that person’s body.

(for the Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים is in the Messiah Yeshua’s body without measure).

The Spirit of G-d רוח אלוהים will come rushing into that person’s body and give to him or her life that lasts forever.

Since the Messiah המשיח conquered and destroyed sin through his sacrifice, he has the power to give peace to whoever believes on him.  He said:

My Peace שלום I give to you

Not as the world gives,

But My Peace.

The peace of the world is ephemeral, transitory, and deceptive.  At first it appears attractive, but then it vanishes away with lies.  It is merely a smoke that is carried away by the wind.

But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it cannot rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt.

There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.

And again it is written:

There is no peace, says the LORD to the wicked.

The Messiah המשיח, however, is the Prince of Peace.  It is written:

For a child is born unto us, a son is given unto us; and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace

That the government may be increased, and of peace there be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it through justice and through righteousness from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts does perform this.

Isaiah 9:5-6

The work of the righteousness of the Messiah Yeshua המשיח ישוע creates peace in the life of everyone who submits to His authority.  He has destroyed the poison and the ravages of sin, and replaced it with His righteousness and His life which lasts forever.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and confidence for ever.

This rest is the essence of Shabbat שבת , where a person ceases from his own work, and enters into the work of HASHEM.

This world, and the people who are in it who are still corrupted by the ravages of sin, cannot enter into this Shabbat and this peace.  They refuse to come under the authority and rule of the Messiah המשיח, therefore they will destroy themselves.
